The three big tennis players met at the Met Gala and turned heads with their outfits. And they also provided a funny moment. Although they did not have a good relationship on the circuit, Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams had fun at the event.
It all started with Sharapova. The Russian met Venus and wanted to take a picture with her sister Serena as well. And Maria and Venus filmed themselves looking for SerenaWilliams dress.
Sharapova took out the phone: "Where is she?"
“Where's Serena? Serena, where are you? We find you. We will find you" says Sharapova. Later, the roles changed a bit. Maria found Serena, but Venus was no longer with her.
“Venus, I found Serena. Look at her here. Where are you, Venus? Hey. We're having fun without you," Sharapova says, while Serena says, "Venus, where are you. I was looking for you".
Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams never had a close relationship when they were players.
The first took place in 2004, in the final of the London Grand Slam. Sharapova then won 6-1, 6-4, and caused an uncontrolled reaction from the American, as Maria reveals in the autobiographical book: "I think that Serena hated me because I was a skinny girl, who spoiled her aura, who defeated -against all odds, in the Wimbledon final. I heard Serena tell a friend, "I will never lose to that bitch again!"
